Towards the end of my retainment with Nickelodeon, I briefly searched for a new job before agreeing to join my former product manager, Vincent De Tommaso, from Nickelodeon as startup co-founders to work on Cortesia Rising, an independent management and tactics science fiction game Vincent had been developing for most of the preceding year. After months of waiting for sufficient initial investor funding and lawyers writing contracts, I finally started full-time as the lead programmer on June 27, 2025.
